These Terms govern your use of trycob.com (the "Site"), operated by Cob ("cob", "we"). By using the Site you agree to them. They don't cover the cob application, which has its own terms when you sign in.

The Site is informational

The Site describes cob and lets you join an early-access list. cob is in private development and not generally available. Nothing on the Site is an offer to provide a product or service, and joining the list does not create any contract or obligation for us to provide cob to you.

Not legal advice

cob, and everything on this Site, is intended to help you understand and prepare for compliance — it is not legal advice and does not create a lawyer-client relationship. For advice about your specific situation, consult a qualified professional.

The early-access list

If you join the list, you consent to receive occasional product updates by email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us. We may change, pause, or end the early-access program at any time.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including the cob name, logo, text, and design — are owned by Cob or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial license to view the Site. You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site — including by attempting to breach its security, accessing it by automated means or scraping, overloading or disrupting it, reverse engineering it, or submitting anyone else's personal information without permission or any false or unlawful content.

Third-party links

The Site links to third-party services (such as Google). We're not responsible for their content or practices; their own terms and privacy policies govern your use of them.

Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cob and its people will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed USD 100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Cob harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute not subject to informal resolution. Before filing, we encourage you to contact us at privacy@trycob.com so we can try to resolve it.

Changes

We may update these Terms; we'll update the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the Site means you accept the changes.
